Welp, this is one of those epoch-defining moments where historians draw a line between the previous age and the new one. Nasturtiums have always been peppery additions to salads, or just snacking all by their lonesome, but this is going to change my bread game. Scratch that—it’s going to rearrange the fundamental building blocks of my bread game. —MN

Nasturtium salad! My nasturtium is growing fantastically; no blossoms or buds yet but the leaves have exploded into new growth and they’re already threatening to take over their planter.

Seeing as we just did a little piece on the untold deliciousness of edible flowers (who knew?), I felt this reblog was appropriate. Let us know how your bouquets/appetizers turn out this spring. —MN
