We were sad to part with the folks from Twig Terrariums and their “Little Landscapes” event in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden. But for all of the minuscule worlds they helped kids create during the event’s tenure, we like to think that we, too, went home with some inspiration to create microbiomes of our own. I know I’ve got a few old mason jars waiting around for input. By the way, with the Orchid Show having taken its leave over the weekend, all of the orchids in our Shop in the Garden are now 50% off! Get to the NYBG if you’re looking to stock up on tropical flora in time for the return of the warm weather. —MN
