I love, love, love this meditation on visiting the Garden without a camera. I get this way on vacation sometimes, when I feel pressure to capture every moment in pixels, and then, inevitably the camera battery dies, and then the phone battery, and then I have nothing to rely upon but my memory. And I relax. I realize that not having a silicon-enabled device between me and the experience is actually nice, enhances my enjoyment of the moment rather than dulls it. In the end, I always go back to the camera, but sometimes I’m a little relieved when the battery dies. ~AR
