Air plants in kitchen funnels! Thrifty, planty fun! Also, in all seriousness, this is a great, lightweight way of hanging your tillandsias in a window. Each time I go to New York’s Botanical Garden, I never leave empty handed and when I go home I always bring something to plant. That’s right to plant! This is a rosemary plant that I purchased at the garden shop while visiting the Orchid Show this past April. Perfect for the garden!
I sympathize. Taking a lunchtime stroll over to Shop in the Garden just to “check out what’s new,” you know, as part of my job, is a danger to my wallet. My office windowsill has reached peak capacity, as has the one in my apartment! And yet, I keep going back. Someday I’ll learn self restraint … someday. ~AR
