More roses—from Australia this time—where they’re in full bloom, and where long distance-friend of the Garden, Lucy is making rose-scented sugar and salt. Do note however, that this is not something you can do with that bunch of Valentine’s roses from your beloved. To be safe for ingesting the roses must be completely free of chemicals, and the best way to be sure of that is, obviously, to grow your own. So start planning now. It may seem hard to believe, but spring is just around the corner!
