The Sustainable Rose Garden is a fabulous new book, edited by Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden curator Peter Kukielski, that dispels the myth that roses are finicky, needy, and hard to grow. Essays come from other New York City rose experts including blogger and friend of the Garden Ellen Spector Platt, Queens Botanical Garden rose curator Karl McKoy, and former curator of roses at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Stephen Scanniello.
