I know this place is amazing. I get to come here everyday. And I can tell you that Monet’s Garden is truly amazing; a riot of color and aroma, and every bit as wonderful and transporting as when I visited the real thing in Giverny. But why take my word for it?

According to the New York Times, the “The first step in is a stunner.” (That’s into the main gallery of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory they mean).

And the Wall Street Journal says that the show “celebrate(s) the gift of Monet the painter on a different “canvas.”“

“You could easily mistake this Bronx paradise—with its rainbow of morning glories, irises, peonies and more—for rural France” says the New York Post.

And the Daily News says that, “the conservatory features sweeping stretches of colorful blooms such as hydrangea, violets, delphiniums and irises.”

So, I think it’s okay for me to wax rhapsodic about the incredible efforts of my coworkers. It places me in pretty good company! So come see for yourself. Visit Monet’s Garden soon to see the spring colors, and then come back in June or July or August (water lily time!) for the intensity of summer, and then again in September and October for the sublimity of fall.

And a piece of inside advice: If you do think you might want to come back again and again (like me!) consider becoming a Member. You can thank me later! ~AR
