Tommy Craggs Creates Incredible Sculptures with his Chainsaw

The sculptures appearing in the forests of Yorkshire brought about comparisons to the elusive Banksy, the anonymous U.K. street artist whose work has fetched millions on auction. Or, at least, they did until Thomas Craggs was found out as the man behind the artwork.

Hard to hide your fame when everyone already knows the face behind that uncommon talent.

Craggs uses a chainsaw and various other power tools to accomplish his feats of organic composition. But don’t worry: he only carves up naturally-toppled trees, or those felled for forest management purposes. —MN
