NYBG Adult Education instructor Jan Johnsen gets a mammoth feature in Westchester Home, for good reason. The landscape architect has an unusual focus: She likes to work with stairs. So when a family approached her with a 2 1/2 acre site of pure hill, she leaped at the chance to work her magic. Twenty years later, the site is completely transformed and a beauty to behold.
