Can you name this flower? I’ll give you a few blatant hints: the part that you eat usually comes in a five-pound bag found in any local supermarket. You can julienne it, fry it, mash it, and sour cream is often only a fork away from a properly baked one.
Yes, it’s the flower of the potato plant. Many of us become so accustomed to what’s sold on the shelf that we never really figure out what the plant looks like before the farmer gets his hands on it.
